Daniel RAKOTOSEHENO aka Dany Be (1935)

One day in April 1971 in BELAMOTY, when part of the south rose up, Daniel opened his telephoto lens, and then everything shook up in the Malagasy photo.

The faces, the men were no longer the same. Surprised, gripped, understood, loved.

The photo suddenly became thicker, livelier, more social.

This was "Daniel's eye".

Other than that Daniel is  himself a figure, a hell of a nosy, a viveur, a guy who has always wandered between the press and the photo.

A guy who is comfortable with everyone, everywhere. With or without Telephoto.
